Growth Strategy:
Retrospect previous journey. Analyse what was right and what went wrong, the reasons, choose not to repeat wrong ones. Learn from experiences. Open minded. Regular interaction with mentors, co- workers and counterparts. Remain updated. Follow inspiring literatures of Robin Sharma.
The Journey So Far:
Worked for rescue and rehabilitation of Child Labourers at Don Bosco Child Labour Mission, Davangere. Worked with ActionAid for HIV prevention and Care. Played multasking role during India Health Action Trust and Karnataka State AIDS Prevention Society. At Karnataka Health Promotion Trust, worked as a Regional Manager for HIV-AIDS project funded by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF). Led the Sampoorna - Link Worker Scheme of National AIDS Control Organisation and GFATM Round VII. Supporting National Rural Health Mission, Karnataka through KSHSRC for Community Processes Programme.
Advice For New Professionals:
Do a job which you love/love the job which you do. Keep an open mind. Observe. Be confident.Keep on learning.Inculcate values of mutual respect, sincerity,honesty & commitment. Be a professional at work. Make time for your family. Don't let money be the first priority. Grow stronger by facing challenges.

Career Profile:
Technical support & expert advise to NRHM,qualitative & quantitative assessments, strategic & operational inputs for strengthening ASHA(CHW)program & other community processes programmes,establishment of monitoring mechanisms,field visits for monitoring programme performance, research.
Role Model:
Dr. Kiran Bedi. A woman who fears nobody.
She has proved the worth of being a woman. Diligently worked for social-issues - prison reforms, crime prevention, drug abuse, police and women's issues. Woman with great values and principles, non corrupt, sincere and assertive. A great inspiration!
Plans For The Future:
In a position where my efforts affect the lives of lakhs and million lives positively; In a position that inspire a lot of development professionals, especially women and youth to take up leadership roles and challenges.
The Decisions That Matter
Quitting a safe,secured job with the Government. Not fearing the setbacks and moving forward. Not yielding to conspiracies to spoil the reputation earned. Remained strong & assertive. Did what seemed right irrespective of the consequences and attracted ire from influential people.
Working Life Management:
Prioritize things. Plan properly. Rise early as it provides a lot of time for things that I plan to do. Involve in social service activities; meet old friends and keep the social circle active. Always keep myself busy; Regular discussion with mentor. Pray, exercise and relax. Love Comedy shows and detective stories. Eat healthy.
Other Thoughts:
Very difficult for women to rise to a good position than its for men.Many factors prevent Indian women from pursuing better jobs. But women have very good potiential to rise and can be successful leaders as well as care takers of the family. My call to women is act and show that you are capable!
Prized Accomplishment(s):
Proud of being a successful woman professionally and personally. Manage multiple responsibilities in both professional and personal front. Research Study on Accredited Social Health Activists, with Karnataka Knowledge Commission. Training modules for National AIDS Control Organisation.

Heading the Community Processes unit at KSHSRC - Advisory body for NRHM, Karnataka. Technical Consultant for Community Processes. Provide technical support and advise to NRHM under community processes component involving ASHAs(CHW),VHSC and community oriented programs.
