Required Reading:
Actually i don't have much interest in reading. But, i think for Software Professionals some basic books like, yashwant kanitkar,Balaguruswami etc are very important for developing basic programming fundamentals. Freshers should always remain in touch with Freshersworld as it gives good information
Working Life Management:
I am very particular about maintaining balance between my personal and professional life. For me if its 5.30 pm, it means its time to stop.I plan accordingly and finish my work before that.Of course, i can change my schedule depending on the situations. But after 5.30, its time for me and myself.
Role Model:
I admire my mom a lot. In spite of her adverse conditions and big family of 10 people. She managed to be a Post graduate with first class, did her PHD, was selected in number of jobs. She did some. But she valued taking care of her family more and is now a great house wife with a perfect mother.
Degrees That Matter:
As i was selected in Campus drive from my college.I was not able to pursue my Post Graduation.I think that PG is compulsory for me for both personal and professional growth.
Growth Strategy:
I am trying to be up to date according to the current Trend. I am trying to learn more and more new things and technologies.These things help to grow confidence in oneself, which is a must for a leader
Done Differently:
First of all, the basic idea of what one is doing is very important for building confidence in particular field. If i had to start my career all over again. I will plan things accordingly and will start from scratch to gain deeper knowledge which will help me to be the master of this new thing too
Advice For New Professionals:
Don't just run for money and don't run behind others. Use your brain and heart both. You should enjoy your work more rather than craving for money all the time. Always find time for yourself,your friends, your family. Don't be old when your heart can be young.
Job Profile:
I am a System Analyst in Infosys Technologies Limited. My work is totally related with sofware. I am working in a Maintenance project. I have to serve for client's request.
Plans For The Future:
Ohh ,if its up to me. i want to be the CEO of a Company. But sad, my experience is less for that.I just wanna see myself as a satisfied, happy, enjoying each and every moment of life.I want to be expertise in my field.
Other Thoughts:
Always do what you want to do.Don't listen or follow others.I was an electronics student in college and always wanted to qualify GATE and join some core company. But i didn't listen to my heart at that time. But now i am happy so it doesn't matter.
Prized Accomplishment(s):
Inspite of being least interested in this field.Currently i am a reliable person for everyone to approach and ask anything related to work.This really give me great satisfaction about myself
Changes In The Professional Environment:
It is more stressful now a days. Currently there are strict deadlines for everything. You are given something and you have to complete it that day, even if you don't know anything about it.People are becoming more professional and strict.
The Decisions That Matter
To join Infosys technologies Ltd. At that time i had a chance to join Indian Airforce too. But i decided to join Infy as my parents were more happy with my decision and i was contended too
