A Tech Illustration for Girl-Power Inspiration

Bangalore: Women have largely contributed to tech innovation and as it’s only been only a month since we’ve entered 2013, an infographic which comes courtesy by New Relic looks back at six women who have changed the course of history with their significant achievements.
The infographic published via Visual.ly outlines the accomplishments of Grace Murray Hopper, Mary Lou Jepsen, Anita Borg, Angela Byron, Radia Perlman, and Janie Tsao, allowing you to see exactly why these ladies are recognized as ‘nerd heroes’. This inspiring illustration comes shortly after tech giant: Intel awarded a few  third-level students with scholarships as part of its 2012 Women in Technology programme. The program aims at lending its support for women to pursue careers in the fields of technology and science. Be sure to check this infographic out for some girl power inspiration.
